Fitness = the level to which you are a physically capable human being.
That’s it.
Think about it.

Is the state of your physical well being something that enhances your life or hinders it? Are your capacities to do what you want with your life enhanced by your body? Or is it a liability?

Your answers for above could certainly be considered a measure of fitness.

How does your body respond when asked to perform a task? A task such as getting up quickly after a fall? Supporting the process of childbirth? Jumping up on top of something? What about putting carry on luggage in the overhead?

When I think about my own personal fitness (as a 35 year old female with 1 child), I like the sense that I could at least slow down a person who was trying to physically harm me. It feels good walking around knowing that you can push your own body weight overhead. I also participate in fitness so I can live well and feel good in my body until about 100.

Fitness – your capacity as a human body to participate in the tasks of your choosing.  Lazy boy chair sitting not included ☺

So for my fitness I do the things that support the tasks I like.

Here is my list of what I like:

#Crossfit #HiloHealthCooperative #olympic lifting #yoga #occassionallybutiyoga #surfing#swiming #running #c2rower #centurians #bluezoneproject

If you are going to buy anything make it a #kettlebell and #speedrope
